1- What do I have to do if I want to make connection between "Linux and Windows server family"???
2- What services that can access the Linux resources such as "When windows XP loged on to the network it take the desktop of Linux and vice versa"???

I am not sure your question yet. But I think you should configure samba in linux then you can do it. You can use software to connect from window to linux such as puty or wincp.
